CPPI Mission

The primary objective of the Center for Public Payer Implementation (CPPI) is to advocate the patient-centered medical home (PCMH) within the public payer system through a wide range of topics. These include health information technology infrastructure, federal funding opportunities, state pilots, and support for developing legislation. For the best outreach results, the Center will be broken down into three core components: the Medicaid working group (built upon the joint work of NASHP and the Collaborative in educational outreach to Medicaid directors), a taskforce focused on the state government as an employer and purchaser of health care, and a final taskforce to address the federal program system (Medicare, Veterans Affairs, DOD, FEHBP, etc.).
